Use the custodian that matches the Washtenaw County record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal-history repository records: use Michigan State Police ICHAT or its authorized fingerprint channel

The Sheriff Records Bureau is the county contact for Sheriff-created incident reports, accident reports, fingerprints, and Sheriff FOIA requests. Court files remain with the court clerk, even when the Sheriff made the arrest.
